THE ART OF MAKING A CHEESE
Learn how to make cheese by doing it yourself!
At this interesting workshop you will learn how to make cheese in a traditional way, following the techniques passed through from generation to generation. It is an engaging activity both for adults and kids.
First we start preparing curd: we have to control the temperature of the milk and ad the rennet so that the milk becomes curd. We leave it to rest while we enjoy the visit; the farm, our sustainable project and the Casa da Rebordela where we will experience the way of life of the 1920s. Of course we don’t forget our cheese! Once the milk has become curd we can start making our cheese; without knowing you will transform into a real cheesemaker and cheese-taster.
